Russia and China modify the ionosphere in controversial scientific project for military purposes

According to the Chinese magazine "Earth and Planetary Physics", the tests managed to modify the ionosphere in an area of 126,000 square kilometers with epicenter in the Nizhny Novgorod region, in the European part of Russia
Russian and Chinese scientists have carried out for the first time a series of experiments in which they managed to modify the ionosphere at the height of Europe with a controversial technology that could be used for military purposes.
According to the Chinese magazine "Earth and Planetary Physics", the experiments were carried out last June and caused alterations in an area of 126,000 square kilometers with epicenter in the Nizhny Novgorod region, in the European part of Russia.

The modified zone was located at a height of 500 kilometers above the Russian town of Vasilsursk, bathed by the Volga River and located half a thousand kilometers from Moscow.
The electrons allowed to increase in more than 100 degrees the temperature of the ionized gasdue to the flow of particles, while the modified zone experienced a peak of electricity with ten times more negative subatomic particles than the surrounding regions.
The high voltage antennas of the ionospheric heating installation Sura built in the times of the USSR were those that sent the short waves to the high layers of the atmosphere.
Experts warn that these frequencies can modify the climate, cause natural disasters, hurricanes or earthquakes, and even influence the brain of the human being
According to the scientific journal, cited by the newspaper "South China Morning Post" (Hong Kong), the results of the five experiments performed day and night were satisfactory in view of the data collected by the Chinese satellite of electromagnetic observation Zhanzheng- one.
The newspaper, in addition to highlighting that the experiment included the use of extremely sensitive technology, recalls that the military of the major world powers have tried to control the ionosphere for decades, a layer that facilitates the sending of radio signals.
Sura was the first installation created in the world (1981) for the purpose of manipulating the atmosphere for military purposes, but its power is four times less than the HAARP project, built after the fall of the USSR by the United States Army in Alaska .
Following the example of the two nuclear superpowers and Europe (EISCAT), the Asian giant is building its own ionospheric heater on the island of Hainan , in the south of the country, in order to manipulate the ionosphere over the East China Sea.
While preferring to remain anonymous, scientists involved in the project deny that it poses a risk to the planet, although other experts warn that these frequencies can change the climate, cause natural disasters, hurricanes or earthquakes, and even influence the brain of the human being.
In addition, the scientists argue that the Chinese are not the only ones cooperating with the Russians in that field, since French and American researchers have also conducted experiments in Sura.
